Chirp Design began in 2005 as a one-woman show with one client. Since then, we’ve become a unique team of future-focused collaborators. We create distinctive brand identity, print collateral, advertising, and “chirp-worthy” content experiences.
We genuinely care about what we do and who we work with. Every project reflects our commitment to teamwork, insightful creative direction, and accountability to exceed our clients’ expectations.
We believe being creative, client-centric, and kind is why we’ve steadily added clients to our roster. In a city of global holding companies, we have not only survived, but thrived for 15+ years without a digital presence. Our consistent work ethic and rock-solid relationships speak volumes.
Lynda Van Duerm
Principal Owl
Lynda’s design journey began with a microeconomics class, which inspired her to change both schools and majors. She has a BA in graphic design from Columbia College and worked for smaller design firms before landing at Cramer-Krasselt, where she worked for six years.
Lynda founded Chirp by converting a closet to a “home office.” 15 years and countless referrals later, she has a roost of her own, where she leads talented designers in the creation of thoughtful, inspired design.
Abby Goodson
Designer / Eagle Eye
Abby joined Chirp in 2012. Around the office, she’s known as the firm’s proofing aficionado and has an affinity for designing multi-page publications.
She is from Missouri but is a Chicagoan through and through. She received her BFA in graphic design from Columbia College; serves on the Auditorium Theatre Auxiliary Board; and has a bona fide addiction to Wrigley’s Orbit peppermint gum.
Lisa Westrick
Designer / Early Bird
Lisa is the most recent addition and has been with Chirp since 2015. She is an early riser and is not afraid to start emailing at 7:00 am. She graduated from Iowa State University with a BA in graphic design and her favorite projects include branding and logo design.
She is the proud mom to fur babies Ruby and Ramona. In her spare time, she enjoys being outdoors or trying new recipes in the kitchen.
