Client: The Joffrey Ballet is a world-class ballet company committed to artistic excellence and innovation. Its spring 2019 gala was conceptualized as an “untied black tie,” with unconventional dining, no formal table seating, and a fancy-but-fresh dress code.
Client challenge: Create a unique look that communicated the gala’s unconventional approach.
Our approach: Bold typography, a high-contrast black and white color scheme, and die-cut graphics emphasized this gala was unlike any other: an UNgala.
