Client: The Joffrey Ballet is a world-class Chicago-based ballet company and dance education organization. They host an annual gala which is their largest (and most talked about) fundraising event each season.
Client challenge: Create collateral for the event inspired by the ballet’s production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and to honor the 10th anniversary of Artistic Director Ashley Wheater.
Our approach: The resulting invitation combined organic colors and graphics that evoked the ballet’s Swedish countryside theme. Gold foil added a hint of sparkle to promote the night as a dream.
